well your really a bit too old for an 85 so i'd say get a 125, it may well be a tad too tall for you to sit on it with your feet on the floor but i ride with people younger and smaller than you who ride them so i dont see why it wouldnt be fine for you.

yeah you should be fine, one of my mates brothers rides with me and hes 13 and he got a cr125 for his first ever bike and hes now a fast rider. and i'd say spend around 1300 if you can but depends what you find for 1000, whatever you do, dont buy cheap i know this better than most with my kx80.

if you look at what its had done to it then it is a great buy for 1300. also have a look around the other bikes on that link, maybe theres some for a bit less.

Hi and welcome to the 'cool' part of the forum
I would highly recomend not to get an 85 b/w as I just sold mine last night and im 16, 5ft 6 and 9.5stone with all my gear on and my bike had everything you could get for it to make it bigger and it was still to small for me
*High rise seat
*High rise clamps
*Ktech front and rear springs
