you need a lot more practice.
5th gear pinned on an 85 and your fine.
not a lower gear?

i also must add...
if your slow in a high gear then yes drop it so you hit the powerband.
just hit the fecking poweband |

| Used to love doing that on my mx bike also in my car, cruising along mid revs then suddenly drop a gear and step on the throttle the acceleration is lethal :shock: |

petree explains my point exactly, As i said there is not alot of run up to these jumps that are pictured, and there is f**k all lip to them, so you cannot get into 5th gear pinned, i normally do these in 4th. But i'm goin to try and do them in 3rd so getting more power!!! |

dont drop it a gear, just be in the right one to start with
if youir coming out the corner, you should leave in powerband,
then shift up a gear, bikw will go into powerband in that gear |
