Right this is what we do
every 3-4 rides depending on conditions
*Head stock bearings (clean with brake cleaner) then regrease
*Front and rear wheel bearings (clean with brake cleaner) then regrease
*Swingarm/ suspension linkage (depening if you have one) (clean with brake cleaner) then regrease
then along with a gear box oil change ever 2 rides with putoline sae75
this is the brake cleaner that we use as dad gets it free from work
this is amazing this tuff, I dont think we could do with out tbh, it comes out like a jet of fluid which then evaporates

totally agree there gavin, its silly. if you grease the bearings, grease will last easy a year before it need re-doing, i highly suggest greasing it, then maybe putting a washer over to cover each bearing.
doing it every 3-4 rides is just ott imo. grease lasts ages. on my bikes ive only ever greased the bearings when ive changed headstocks , wheels, etc and they've been immaculate. even my aprilia ones, 1997 and they still mint. stuff made today is just cheap chug lol, im sure if they wanted to they could make em last longer.
gavin just grease em and leave them for a few months, then check them again. i reckon they will be fine. but who knows. ill probably get someone quote me, then swear at me, then tell me how wrong i really am...  |

| About every 5 rides i'll clean and grease the swingarm and linkage bearings, not the headstock tho as hardly any dirt gets there so the grease lasts for ages. Defo worth doing the swingarm and linkage tho, prevents that^^^^^ |

| in all honesty though, did you notice your bearings were shot. also has it ruined your swingarm or frame? probably not. so what does it matter anyway  |
